A vision of the future

New technologies, smarter systems, more efficient drive systems, more options... the list goes on.
Transport is constantly changing. #teamvanhool shows how we think about the future.

Nowadays, everything revolves around ecologically sound transport.
At Van Hool, we have always been focused on the search for innovation. We believe it is crucial to be able to respond well to the market, especially the market of the future.

The goal is transport that is modern and 100% environmentally friendly.

R&D

At Van Hool, there is an extensive R&D department that is dedicated to researching new design and greener drives.
Thanks to them, we have several world firsts to our name.
This goes back to the early days of hybrid buses, where CNG or diesel engines would drive an electric generator, which supplied part of the required power. We have now progressed to the point where Van Hool is going to switch to all-electric drives for its public transport range.

Some of our milestones
